Geany plugins not enabled on 64-bit vm
The geany plugins are enabled in the ~/.config/geany/geany.conf
file by specifying the [plugin].so
library paths with active_plugins=path/to/plugin1.so;path/to/plugin1.so;.....
.
The problem is that the plugins are located in the system architecture specific library path. For example /usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/geany/plugin.so
on the 32-bit system.
Simple solution: When geany is loading the configuration it cleans up the active_plugins that are not found and removes them from the config file. The easy solution is to specify the paths for 32-bit and 64-bit at the same time. Geany will automatically remove the ones that are not present.
